CHRISTMAS DROP IN PARTY

Shy and I will be hosting a Christmas drop in style party on December 10th from 5 or so until about 10 or 11. Pomegranate martini's and PBR will be on hand along with some finger foods.

Really, I do not know if I should be embarrassed or pissed. I had no idea that this level of shit was running around behind the scenes. And oblivious to it all. Why did someone not clue me in? Move on in your worlds, I have in mine.

good friend, and friend of the club, sean donahue's shop is having its grand opening today. go check it out. you have a month to by stuff for other people. be selfish today. the shop is behind the zips on division and hawthorne.

Roller

 Got the front end shortened and the roller on the floor for some eyeball work. Gas and oil tanks need some modifications to the mounts. Seat mounts and fender mounts need added. Stance is good though.

 Took 6 inches out of the front end. Was a bit scared when I looked down the tubes and saw how the axle mount were done. I made the new ones much heavier and they go up the tubes about 4 inches.

Hellybilly truck is a runner but too rich. I'm thinking carb is too big. So, to find a proper carb and do some adjustments.

Latest on build of single loop.

 Single loop on jig for a few little tabs to be removed and a few to be put on.

Whew, that was close.

More frame fix.

 Slug for backbone fitted and pinned.

 Slugs for downtubes in and pinned,

 Fit and welded. Looks good and will hold forever. All slugs are pinned on each side and Tig welded.

The shovel project. Hard to see the single loop frame. The girder needs shortened about 10 inches. I also changed the gas tank to a different one that I like better.

Some progress

 The Fun never ends at Two Tones. But the crafty bastard is a watermelon smuggler.

 Set in for test fit. Frame is sprung just a bit, will need to pull front down tubes in then weld and relieve.

 First cut. I left some extra to I had area to play with if measurements were wrong. I go with the theory of measure six times and cut twice.

The start of it all, broken back bone and bent support brace. The neck had been raked and de-raked at some point in its past too. I will still need to align the whole thing when done. Then I need a new front trans mount and brake cross over.

The other day I was driving in my truck. My boy sitting next to me. Warm sunshine gleaming thru the windshield. We are driving across town, enjoying a little Credence Clearwater on the radio. I turn the truck to the right and what did I see? A broken down Chevy pick up just a block ahead on the left. As I drove closer to the Chevy, I see a familiar look on the face of a friend. What familiar look would that be you ask, well, the look of a good friend who has succumb to the fact that their Chevy has to be towed by a FORD! Ahh ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
