I plan to have a qwik bite at Sparky's tomorrow before the swamp if anyone wants to join me. Sparky's is located at the corner of Indiana & Monroe. Will be there around 6.

1963 Nova

So after much work in Blanchard Jeremy and I brought my nova into Tim Hein's place. If you don't know Tim, he is a super awesome guy and builds rad hotrods. The nova in the picture isn't it but I like how its lowerd and stuff. He will be making sure it's a daily driver. Part of the deal with the wife is that my other car has to go. No worries!

After Tims...it's off to Jim's! He will be dropping in some sweet door panels for me and replacing the windscreen. I have a new screen in the trunk! Glad that was there.

Then I think we will drop it just a twat hair upfront over at Bob's place.

After that Im just gonna drive it. Later I might re-paint it.

Had two of the hubcaps...got lucky and found two more.

Guys, the move in has to be Thursday. If we all do it about the same time would work best. about 6 to 6:30 get there and we will unload and get set up. Call me if you have problems. I will call during the week and speak with people putting bikes in. Then after wards we can swamp or what ever.

First of all this is how I feel after working all the kinks out of this front end!

From this angle it looks like it was meant to be, Thanks Chris.

A couple of things need to be re-powdercoated due to excessive long distance throwing of japanese parts............

Here is my old headlight mount modified, drilled and tapped with only ONE hole in support bracket, vs the swiss cheese that it looked like before.

Skinny looking, still will have to make some spacers for the front wheel. Overall a great experience in springers 101. Oh by the way Foe, I have some more machining to do on the lathe thanks to the mock up.

The Troike awakens from it's snow cave!

IT's ALIVE,...... IT's ALIVE! The Troike comes out of hibernation. Fired right up, yawned a bit, Noel mounted on it's back and the two of them rode off. You should have seen it. The two of them, holding hands, frolicing in the snow covered wheat feild of Post Falls Idaho. Cheers to ya Noel, you are a great friend!

Thanks to Jim's retro cam I was able to capture this fine moment in time when you are joined with great craftsmanship and flavor of an award winning beer distributed evenly amongst friends. The drill was moving at a rapid pace on Al, although I have a great picture to post but due to filming rights in the U.S. the feds have pulled it from the list. I will have to publish it on paper and bring it next Thursday at the good ol swamp.............To Be Continued, Oh and thanks for the help today FOE. Great knowledge shall not be wasted, untill it is time to get wasted. Drink responsibly.

Follow up on some stuff

Well I went home and looked very closely at the rubber intake manifolds I removed from Betty, thats what I'm calling her...my sweet ride. And low and behold there were the gaskets. They had been there since 1978 and were basically part of the rubber! No wonder I was getting a lean condition with flames and shit. Waiting on new ones from Mikes XS.

Got my reg. turned over to collector plates, very awesome. No more reg. costs! And I promised to only ride her 3 times a year...yes the bike dudes. Its only twice a year with the wife!

Also got my new waxed cotton riding jacket...so sweet! I will show it off very soon.

I will not be with you tomorrow night so have fun!

Back from the blasters.

Well back from the sandblasters. After looking over the frame.....FUCKING MORON'S shouldn't be building bikes, But they still try. I know that there is a term "good enough" commonly used in the presence of mutual friends. Don't be a fucking idiot when you build your bike. Plain and simple, I am confident that all members are 8 million times smarter than the idiots that first built my Ironhead. Sorry for the blast of air, I feel much better now.

The new springer is at the powdercoaters. Will try and get it on tomorrow.
