Saturday night Blogging!

Evil K & I went for a scoot today. My first ride of the season. Raced a minivan up a quarter mile long hill and kicked it's ass!!!!! Fuck you dude in minivan!!!!! Fuck you! You got beat by a fat ass on a 650cc Yammy Bobber!    Was a beauty of a day for a ride!! Few minor qwerks with the bikes but nothing we couldn't overcome.

Saturday ride

 Some graffiti south of town. One of the pieces of "art" says "nigga dog".  I am sure it was painted by a kid so white he makes refrigerators look ethnic.

 Old painted ads on buildings are cool.

 Taken at a HIGH rate of speed. I had a few very nice unoccupied straight stretches to check my speedometer for high level failure.

 The little sign says 15 minute parking. No fee required. Which is good, since there is not a place to pay and I needed to pee. I stayed 16 minutes just to show them who was in charge. Government really is out of touch. One side which starts with an R wants to do away with any funding for parks. The other side which starts with a D is trying to keep it all alive and trying to find funding. But this little park is in the middle of fucking NOWHERE!!! Who do they think is going to find a way to pay way out here. Dumb shits are all out of touch with the public.

Geographical odditie, 6 miles from everything. Still trying to get noticed though. I think by airplanes though.

 Even though I did this correctly and still used bag gloves. I took years off the life of my knuckles and joints. Play hard pay hard.

 Some bugs are cool even though they are not lowered.

 Gotta have a Knuck. 21 inch wheels front and rear. I like it.

TANK GIRL!!!! Movie sucked ass, but the comics were good.  Sunday was good day, worked on Hillyard doghouse, worked on choppa, surfed the net. Home made pizza for supper.

It's in my blood

Thought I would share this pic on the blog. Yesterday I attended a memorial for my father's passing. There I saw this picture posted of my family and Dad's truck (Dad must have been taking the picture). This pic was taken in 1976 in front of our home. Brings back numerous memories. Memories from the chain link fence, the clothes we wore, the 1956 F-100, to the wheels with the bad ass bias-ply tires. (In the picture, top, left to right is Mom, brother Ric, Sister Micki, bottom row, left to right, brother Shawn and me at age 5 )

Matt's Cafe II

Matt is getting close to finishing his cafe racer build. Pipes are done, wiring is done, paint & pinstripes done, new tires are done.

Getting close, have to finish wire job. Need to make master cylinder bracket and finish primary cover. Then de-bug time starts. Hope there is not much to do.

 Chopper on rack getting assembled. Two tone dropped off the paint. I like it soooo much I may just hang it on the wall in the bedroom and dream.

One step closer

Finally I'm working on Evil k's tins. The vintage spare tire ring that was cut into a fender was pretty rough. My boy Nathan, had knocked out all the dents and smoothed out the body filler (with some assistance from me of coarse). Next is some smoothing on the tank then off to be primed. I will keep ya posted!
